Research Overview
Hi! I am an incoming Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, advised by Dr. Hong Yu. Prior to this, I received my M.S. in Computer Science & Engineering at Korea University, under the supervision of Dr. Jaewoo Kang, and my B.S. in Biotechnology from the same institution. I have also conducted research as a visiting scholar at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, advised by Dr. Timothy A. Miller.
My research focuses on natural language processing for biomedical and clinical applications, with an emphasis on multimodal language models and explainable AI. I aim to connect biomedical knowledge with real-world clinical data to support better clinical decision-making and advanced biomedical discovery. My work has been presented at ACL, EMNLP, and NAACL.
